On Friday, November 6, we will serve Hokkaido shirako wrapped in shiso leaf tempura and Ishikawa Prefecture maaji (Japanese horse mackerel) sashimi. Maaji is prized for its silvery skin and rich flavor. Fresh fish is flown directly from Japan, arriving Tuesdays and Fridays. Both are limited in quantity and will end once sold out, so we recommend visiting early.

Monday, October 26, 2026 is Ok Phansa Day, the end of Buddhist Lent. It is an important Buddhist holiday in Thailand, and by law alcohol sales are suspended nationwide. SOBAQ is open as usual for dinner from 17:00 — food, our black-sesame nama-soba, and soft drinks are all available as always, and GRAB / LINE MAN delivery is also open. Alcohol service pauses after Sunday, October 25, and resumes from Tuesday, October 27.
